You can easily choose which job roles in your MIS are Teaching staff. This simple guide talks you through the process and will generate teaching-staff@ and non-teaching-staff@ groups
1- Navigate to smartadmin
2- Choose the School Settings option
3- Select Teaching Staff on the menu
4- You will now see a list of Staff Roles pulled through from your MIS
5- Tick the 'Enable Teaching Staff Role Override' box
6- Tick the Staff Roles that you want to be included in the teaching-staff@ group, all unticked roles will be added to the non-teaching-staff@ group
7- Now hit the Green 'Save Settings' button
8- The next time the MIS sync runs which is usually around 7am daily the groups will automatically update
9- You will now see the new groups synced to realsmart and google.
