Embedding content is a powerful tool that can make your realsmart items stand out from the rest using vibrant multimedia content. It’s a very quick and simple process that anyone can do using basic HTML.

How to embed content into realsmart

1. Navigate to the item of your choice and click edit in the toolbar.

2. Select to edit the individual page you wish to embed content to.

3. In your web browser locate the multimedia content you wish to implement into your page. An embed button of some sorts is usually nearby, this will display the code that you must copy to your clipboard.

4. Navigate back to your webcell content editor and click on the ‘HTML’ button.

5. Now simply paste the code you copied into the ‘HTML Source Editor’ like so. Once you have done this click update.

6. You will now be back at the main editor. You should notice a pale yellow box within your page content that indicates the embedded elements. Now simply save your content and view the results!

Embedding multimedia content is not limited to just Google Maps. Videos can be used from your favourite sites such as YouTube and Vimeo, and even flash content can be embedded into your site!
